Is the Ambulance a Safe Storage?
I`m new to the game and learning little by little but now I`m getting overwhelmed by loot. I found an ambulance in a neighborhood but is it safe to keep my stuff in there or not really and if so, how do I mark it in the map in case I forget where the ambulance is?

Thanks in advance.

Just build storage chests. You just need wood. If you don't have a base. place them outside the trader as you will be going back there often.

Placing chests on any road is safe also.

Zombies can sometimes aggro vehicle if their pathing derps and they can explode.

Yeah, making your own chests is safer.

And to mark them, open the map, use the mouse wheel to zoom in, then right click to place a waypoint.

If you visit it just before 'respawn loot day' then you're fine.

But it's obviously not recommended as mentioned above.

To answer the OP directly, Yes, it's technically safe storage. There is the risk of zombies breaking it, but, it's a relatively minor risk. And while loot can respawn, it will NOT respawn any container that currently has loot in it until that loot has been removed.

So, all in all, it should be about as safe (if not safer due to the massive HP of the ambulance) as just plopping your own storage chests down.

Storage chests are easy to craft from day 1, taking minimal wood. Once you get nails, you can craft boxes that you can label, which is awesome.
