How do i repair a metal shack's wall?

The wall in question looks like a metal sheets.

R click anything with a stone axe/hammer/repair tool/nail gun. If it needs some material you don't have, make sure you have whatever material you build that block with in your inventory.

Im talking about those metal sheets from a map generated metal ''barn''.
The metal sheets arnt cubes but what apperas to be sheets , the sheets are very thin and not cube like.

It's called forging iron not sure in A12, but you used to craft it from iron ingots. If creative is on there is another mat nearly the same in the menu too, I want to say it is corrigated metal(?). If playing legit in A12 though the mat has a different look you can use Reinforced Scrap Metal Siding.

What YamaKami said is correct but let me add some more. Possibly the metal shack in question your speaking of cannot directly add the same blocks you see as metal siding. These are blocks that were originally addded to this prefabricated shack but do not have blocks of the that same type you can make. The scrap metal siding that Yamakami speaks about you can make will work, has the same principals but looks different than the metal siding you probably are speaking of on this shack.

You can of course like jnnx said just use a stone hammer, wrench, claw hammer or nail-gun, right click on the block to repair the dmaged tile or shheet metal thay is damaged.
