HOW DO I EXIT OUT OF FULL-SCREEN MODE?

when i did ALT + ENTER it full screened the game for a while i liked it but when i wanted to minimize the screen it didnt let me so i tryed ALT + ENTER again and it didnt work plz help. P.S. this my first time doing a discussion and im not sure if i started one

yeah it does, its a check box under resolution settings!

I found that I have the full screen setting in windowed mode (I don't play any other way as I use my monitor to do other stuff at the same time). Are you reffering to the fact that the "full screen" mode is just a large window that takes up the full screen instead of being a direct serface? If so who really cares? Upgrade your video card or try new drivers if you have an issue. As you pointed out if the engine won't support it then it'd be a large hassle for them to reinvent the wheel. Thus defeating the point of using an engine..

If not then I'm not sure what your point is?
