How to reduce heat??
i just got attacked by hordes and hordes of cops bees and feral zombies. Is it because of heat??
if so how do i reduce it??

leave the area or stop building and cooking food or smelting.

no heat would spawn spiders - spiders would call a horde but they dont contain ferals or cops - so i guess you were hit by feral horde and those have nothing to do with heat.

Dig down to bedrock and cook and forge at will down there :)

Around 50-75 ish levels to hit bedrock

That wasn't anything to do with heat. That was a feral horde. They come every seven days, hence the name of the game!

As for your original question: No. You can't lower heat directly. Just leave the biome for a while and it'll reset eventually. Or wait until it hits 100% and kill the (usually) two spiderzombies it spawns to come investigate.

Kill them before they start screaming and it'll prevent any other zombies spawning as well.

Well thank you but this horde happened on the 26th day it prob did hit the max heat but thank you for your answer! but will it help if we build our next base very deep in the undergrounds ?
