How to boil water?

I had this ♥♥♥♥ running for 5 minutes before I came back. I put 1 pot and 2 murky waters in both spots to make sure I get something. What is wrong? No water for me :;(

You have to go in the menu and hit "Cook" before the campfire cooks it.

you don't insert your items to be cooked into a spot anymore. just your cookware and fuel. When you get those ready, got to the menu on the left, select what you want (bottled water), select how many from the middle, then click cook.

You don't put the Murky Water in the slots anymore. To the left in the list of recipes, you'll see Bottled Water. Click on that and then select the quantity and then click on "Cook". The Murky Water will be removed from your inventory automatically.

Yea, the area you have your murky water is where the boiled water and any items you cook will "output". No worries happy cooking.
