Zombies cause lag
I play on around 100fps when there is no zombies around but when its 10 or more zombies its start to lag. I go down to around 30 - 50 fps or even lower.

Is there a way to fix the lag?
(Sorry for bad english)

I got the same issue, but only when around 6+ zombies around. Getting jumps 40-60 FPS every second. Wait for updates, and mind its alpha, not many perfomance fixes made.

When you start the game, disable EAC (Lauch without anti-cheat) Our server was unplayable, and when we tried this everything worked flawlessly. Zero lag. Lots of others have reported this working as well if you search the forums. Try it! :P

So the anti-cheat is causing lag?

Lots report it does help/work (especially on a server), so try it. :)

EAC also seems to be the reason why the game can take so long to do all its pre-cache/loading on startup, for some. When I run with EAC off that part is much much much faster. It was taking maybe 60-90 seconds on my HDD, but with EAC off it's more like 15-20 seconds.

That's right. Keep in mind though you should have the server/clients do this if possible. Which is great on a closed server with your peeps. Not so much for a random public server.

Yes.

I disabled EAC on my server and start the game without Anti Cheat and I no longer get zombie lag.
