Jaga:
“A11 has some latency issues with disk reads/writes. Causes mild stuttering. Defragging the disk can help, uninstalling and reinstalling can help. Putting the game on a fast SSD or RAMdrive can help.”
Try this if you want too as well
Madman:
“Uninstall the game through Steam, then close Steam
Find the 7DTD install folder "\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\Common\7 Days to Die" and delete it.
Edit the registry with regedit, find the "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\The Fun Pimps\7 Days To Die" key, click on it and delete it.
Run a tool like CCleaner to get rid of temp files, DNS entries, etc.
Find "ClientRegistry.blob" in Steam's folder (\Program Files (x86)\Steam), rename it to "ClientRegistry.blob.old"
Restart the computer
If you don't have any saves you care about, delete the "\My Documents\7DTD\" folder (or move it somewhere else like the Desktop)
Start Steam and reinstall the game
Once these steps are complete, force DX9 in steam:
Library> game> properties> set launch options> type in: -force -d3d9
Go into your video card control panel, and disable Vsync for 7 days to die.
