Disable EAC for better fps!
Looks like the fps problems have a relation with the game anti cheat sistem. I was getting 20fps on low settings now I can run it on High with 100-120fps. Play without EAC and be happy (this might not work for everyone)

I can confirm this, our game when from unplayable to running perfectly.

Does this resolve horde issues as well in MP? (i.e. before I would get massive lag when more than 10 zeds were on screen in MP)

confirmed here also. be aware however, this wont fix everything for everyone. amd hardware for instance can still render some hiccups. but disabling eac is well worth the shot.

This caused a BSOD and the memory leak issue seems to persist still

MM said after bug squashing the team is going to focus on optimization so don't lose hope if this didn't work for you =/

How is this done? I looked on the internet and all I saw was something about this being done in Steam LIbrary. Another page says theres an option at launch but I don't see that on mine.

EAC is the anticheat system they have in place. When you launch the game theres an option to enable or disable anticheat
