Taking resources out of forge?
I want to move to a new location. My old base has a forge in it with lots of resources. Is there any way to reclaim them?

Simple answer,no. Only thing you could do is use all the internal storage to craft stuff like forged iron and so on and take that with you.

You can move the metal by forging and melting it back down, sand can be made into glass panes which can also be melted back down.

The clay used to do this will be lost though. But you can get the metals which arguably is the most important thing and with whats left over you can get plenty of glass.

Yeah, you're right guys - I did some testing and apparently smelting forged iron back and forth is lossless. Not a problem then! Thanks for replies.

Clay is everywhere so it isn't so bad to loose whats in the forge. As was stated metal can be reclaimed.
