any quick methods of removing your placed steel blocks? I don't know a fast way to

I'm assuming your messing with the creative menu since you're directly placing steel blocks. The best way to do so is to use the CM to get a high quality auger and some gas to break the block up. Also, setting block durability down to 25% will do so as well.

Even out of CM mode, an auger would be your best option, assuming you have a high level one. You could try to undermine the block and make it collapse but that would require that the block or group of blocks all be undermined at once and if it's a large build, that isn't feasible.

You could switch the block durability to 25% to make it easier to destroy the block by hand but that also means that zombies will be able to destroy them very quickly too so I would turn off zombies momentarily if you intend to go with that option. Just remember to turn them back on when you turn up the durability percentages.

Adding: if you have a auto shot gun max shotgun perks in all trees with recog buff it will deal more DPS to blocks than a maxed out auger with miner 69er. Weird but I don’t think they meant for you to run around with unlimited ammo tested in creatives

I always place my blocks as cobble-stone, then upgrade them once I'm sure about it. I already got tired of making placement mistakes with concrete blocks, and having to destroy them, there's no way I'm even making steel blocks.
