How to get forged iron?

Hi guys, maybe im missing something but how do you get forged iron?

same here have the skill for steel but not able to forge it .was thinking steel into iron

When I saw the vid it showed smelting scrap directly into forged iron.

could be wrong though

You need scrap metal and clay together in the imput slot and they you can craft forged iron.
