*FIXED* Unable to open "Character" tab

So I'm trying to open the character tab in A13 and it just keeps throwing a "IndexOutOfRangeException: Array index is out of range." error. It basically closes the player menu completely.
FIX: You will need to delete the C:\Users\USER NAME\AppData\Roaming\7DaysToDie\Saves content and start fresh. Once I deleted my saves from my old 7DTD versions I was able to open my character tab. I did not delete the "Saves" folder, just the content of that folder.

i have same problem use a random caracter als delete the savegames ordener under %AppData%

This is a problem with some types of clothes, like some of the craftble ones.

i hear theres a bug that only affects male characters i had same prob created female all good

I don't think it's this, because I was trying to open the character tab while my player was still naked, so there was no equiped clothing on my character at the time.

Deleted my old character and made a new female character and I'm still getting the error.

It's something with hats, I think. It wouldnt let me look at my sheet when I made and wore one. Quitting and coming back seemed to help. Right now, I'm just wearing looted hats.

I had this every time I put on the fiber hood. I think it's to do with the hair/beard combinmation you have etc, some seem to cause no problems, others do.

I got server admin to remove me, I deleted my profile, uninstalled game, removed all traces of 7days2die from PC, re-installed created new profile, same problem,

Tried another ine using spaniard goatee and mowhawk (as server admin was using that combo) and now char screen works perfectly but I'm seen in it and by others as a black sillouette. I THINK the black silloette might be to do with hair colur as at one point while playing it worked but haoir was bright illumonous green, not a colour selectable from character select, tried to change it and back to sillouette.

Thank you for giving me the path to that. This resolved the issue, I deleted the content of the "Saves" folder and loaded up a fresh game and am now able to open the Character Tab.

That post does not have a solid fix, as it's just addressing the fact that there is a problem, and there is no work around at the moment as far as I can tell. They just said to try to remake the character since it's a problem with the character combinations, which was not my problem, I had deleted the character, and changed to the female character and was still having the issue with not being able to open my character tab.
I deleted my saves folder content and remade the character exactly as I had done the previous session and it worked fine once I had a fresh save.
