were/are you running any other games at the time? Ark per chance?
The 32 bit version works, but I'm really worried that a server won't be able to host realistically limited to 32 bits's ram space.
TBH, there is no reason to even compile this game for 32 bits if walking in one direction for ten minuets exhausts all the ram a 32 bit application can have, how do you expect a server to do that for tens of people at once?
It requires a sound engine Pulise something to be installed let me see if i can get the chat from my server admin.
thx, that helped.
Could have tried that by myself, from the logs:
"Failed to create secure directory (/run/user/0/pulse): Permission denied"
apt-get install pulseaudio
But that was not enough, I also had to chmod 777 /run/user/0, cause I'm using a different user.
Maybe someone has a cleaner solution? How do allow my user to use pulseaudio without chmodding /run/user/0?
Maybe installing pulsaudio is even not necessary.
Anyway, it works now. Thx for the direction Obiwan!
Glad it lead you in the right direction though Toughy!
