I'm at the end of day 11 on Nomad difficulty. I've died twice (that's two more than usual). AGI build. Typical RWG with Pine Forest in the middle.

Magazines don't seem to care where my perk points are spent, and as a result I'm woefully under-prepared for T3 infested quests - can't kill rads yet. I can barely handle one feral at a time. It's such a stark difference from all my other new game starts that it doesn't feel like just bad rng. Been stuck with a quality 2 Hunting Knife since day 7.

Murky water seems much more common from toilets and other loot sources (like cabinets).

Curious about what you all think of the latest experimental build

Yeah, I suppose it was just some bad luck with magazines holding me back. I don't necessarily mind. First time in a long time I didn't feel like a one man army.

I like it.

"Ive died twice (that's two more than usual)."

1) Considering Zombie HP was buffed at all difficulties, it may be a good reason progress is more difficult for many players.

"Magazines don't seem to care where my perk points are spent"

2) Consider that perk points are to provide a bonus chance to magazines based on perk choices. Perk points are not designed as a mechanic for a player to 100% influence magazine drops to "only" the magazines they want.
