Lumberjack Outfit
Preacher Gloves
Commando Boots
so cool.
For mining the miners hat, miners outfit and gloves.
For farming the farmers outfit and boots.
Nerd Googles (heavy armor and increased XP gain)
Nomad Outfit (heavy armor and more backpack slots)
Preacher Gloves (light armor and you deal more damage to zombies)
Nomad Boots (heavy armor and increased run speed)
Late game-
Raider Helmet (heavy armor and 100% stun resistance)
Raider Outfit (heavy armor and reduces critical injuries by 50%)
Preacher Gloves (light armor and you deal 60% more damage to zombies)
Nomad Boots (heavy armor and 20% increased run speed)
Preacher outfit
Preacher Gloves
Assassins boots
Dyed Pink - for that EXTRA Street Cred.
You get the 60% bonus damage regardless of weapon type
It's pretty good damage reduction despite being light armor because of the chest piece effect, plus being light armor means you have no mobility/stamina reductions and don't have to spec into med/heavy armor perks
Plus you can't be infected (no need to carry honey, saves an inv slot), and you're much less likely to receive critical injuries. You also heal injuries faster if you ever do happen to get them
I also bring rogue helm/gloves for looting, gives a loot bonus and makes it faster/easier to lockpick
I can't really justify anything else personally. Obviously some full sets are good for certain things, like lumberjack for woodcutting, but you can happily store those in base for specific scenarios. The 20% EXP from nerd goggles is nice but I never really used it. The nerd chest piece is nice as a swap early on, don't use it anymore though
The only other things I can think of are the 20% movespeed boots, that would be nice. The 100% stun resist from raider helmet is nice too but you can get that from perks so it's eventually replaceable
Inventory slots, zombie damage, movement speed, loot bonus.
Also it looks cool.
Biker Outfit: +20 max Health (more HP is good - Im not a sneek build)
Commando Gloves: +50% Ranged Damage (this is bonkers)
Enforcer Shoes: +20% Run Speed (yep, I started something I couldnt finish so Ill just run away. To the nearest choke point that is.)
I also run a combo of commando gear and athletic gear. Its an an outpost of mine right now so I cant check it - but there were reasons for all of the pieces that made sense. It used to be my horde night gear as I was coming up.
assassin armor - for sneak bonus
preacher glove - for 60% bonus damage
commando boots - for running speed (it's also medium with only 10 noise that can negate with buffer mod)
im playing full agi build so i don't plan to getting hit much. if push come to shove i just jumping around waving machete and zombie just die around me.
Rogue hood
Scavenger or commando gloves
Scavenger oufit
Nomad or biker boots
For late game:
Doesn't matter anymore, even tier 6 quests at night in wasteland with faster zombies on insane are not difficult.
Horde or expected heavy combat I'm in Head and Outfit Raider, Preacher Gloves and Biker boots
