Guns nerds and steel appears to be playing a 1.0 version and after looking around a bit, the mod launcher also appears to be compatible with 1.0 b336
What GS means is that you can still try to download and use the mods at your own risk. So if you see people still using them today, it likely means they are using the same ones that were updated back in July. The worst that can happen, is that you get errors. If it works, then you get to enjoy a different 7DTD game.
