And how so? The Club is way superior. I mean look at it, there is no way a simple baseball bat out of metal would do more damage.
I think it’s one of 7DTD let downs to not have more effective and iconic zombie weaponary.
It seems to that a wooden bat would be much easier and more customizable than a metal one. But then I again I've never lived thru an apocalypse.
I would honestly rather have a spear like weapon for more distance and a machete for close up.
Roadsigns are everywhere so a spear is easy to get and nearly no one plays baseball here.
It's more than likely the reason spears have always been an after thought to me.
One of the mods said in a topic at the offical forums that they made strenght the easy way for new players hence why it is in the tutorial. And it kinda makes sense, it is the easiest to use. With the spear if you miss the head, it´s a sure miss, with the club you can still get a hit.
I like the spear, you often have small rooms where you can funnel them and the ability to poke trough 3 or 4 zombies at once is nice.
They don´t break as easy as a wooden one though.
I've wanted a steel bat for years.
+1 from me
it's a reskinned iron club and uses the same ingredients as the old iron club but scraps to 7 pieces of wood....For that this game sucks!
The Full Auto mod fixes that
