Roadmap? Final release?

After 7 years or so, still alpha, bugs and such.
Is there any official roadmap? Plan for final release? Or at least, idk, like minecraft, not really final but something polished?

This isn't a AAA dev studio... this is Steam early access game featuring indie devs. They are very random with what they push out and they don't work against timeframes or deadlines.

So... enjoy the game for what it is now (or in the past releases) and be prepared to come back months later if you don't like the current build.

There aren't any better games in this genre for now... just gotta suck it up until they release content you like... or a better game comes along.

There's a lot of talk of going gold with A20.

As for roadmap, you can see what they're working on via the link to their forums at the top of general discussions, 'Alpha 19 News'.

Actually, a20 is planned to be the first stage of Beta, and is expected to arrive near the end of this year. The is along the plan of a19 releasing within the next few months.
And if all goes well, Gold is expected by next summer.

The game has been in EARLY ACCESS since Dec 13, 2013?!?! When will the game be ready for official launch?

Why worry about it? The Fun Pimps continue to work on it and release constant updates. It will be ready for release when they say it is ready. Just play the game and enjoy it. I know I have gotten more than my money's worth of playtime from this game.

The dev team is super tiny and it's an ambitious project, so development's gonna take a LONG time.
However, if you look at A19, you can see they're definitely working on the game.
