Godmode/Flying not working

I know there is anohter topic on this but the title I think is a bit vauge so I started a more precise one

G does not work at all for me, Z does both on the MP server my friend hosts and SP mode, jhowever any time I type anythign in the console it tells me "<cmd> is not authorized for player Rhia".

The server is a private server hosted by a friend who has the resources to host, but she set me as admin, however none of the admin console commands work.

Does it require a brand new game after the settings are edited on the hosts side? the world was started and I was in game while she was changing the commands, but she had me exit and restarted the server but the same old game.

I also cannot get G or the console commands to work in SP mode. Is there a client side setting i need to change as well as the host side?

Id really like to know if anyone has gotten it to work and if so what you did, I was workign on a build In 8.6 iI was going to try out in 8.7 but it requires me to be able to move freely up and down while I do the detailed work. Its a creative build not a "play the game right" build. I enjoy designing traps and such and testing them on the zombies during these early beta stages mroe than the "proper" way to play the game, so any help woudl be appreciated.

type dm in the console and then click G, also for admin command to work in a server you have to add it into the coding of the files.

that worked on the SP mode, thank you, but typing any commands into the console on our MP server gets me (in this case for example) command dm is not authorized for player Rhia (or something very similar) so I am guessing thats somethign she has not set up right on her end and Ill just have to wait till she is available to mess with it.

Yep you must have admin access to use dm mode as far as I know.

not working so properly, when i activate G, deactivate a again activate, then not working, i fall under world and can't fly up. :D

If you try Godmode and flying while crouched you'll sink.

Ok and how the hell do you fix this crap? I don't want to lose my word and now I sunk down to no man land.
