What specific time do zombies run?

I went inside as SOON as the sun went down but I still hear zombies walkin outside and its 19.30 in game. Im on Nomad difficulty if that changes it. What time do zombies start runnin so I know when to seek shelter?

Depends on your settings, but on default 16 hour-'daylight' they stop running at 6.00 AM. You'll hear the "disney-tune" when that time is. (they ALWAYS start running at 22.00, regardless of any settings)

Zombies will always start running at 22:00. The time that they stop will depend on your length of day. If you have it set at the defaulr 16 hour day, that means nightime is 8 hours long so the zombies should stop running at 06:00. If you choose 18 hour days they stop at 04:00 etc.

mine is set for 18 hours so they run at 22.00 pm and stop at 04.00 am
