All zombies but dogs, and of course hornets.
Actually as of A13, spider zombies are part of the normal zombie spawn...and not just Feral hordes now.
So you have to do a bit more than knock out ladder rungs now.
Its not like the ladder was my main defense - i fled on the roof as soon as they broke through my moat and wall, didnt expect that such strong zombies as the feral exist lol was careless.
Thanks for the infos.
I've seen dogs climb ladder this patch.....................was quite a shock.
You meant the bottom part? Knocking off the top part would mean you can't get up either. Which you may want, just in case you happen to fall off, or are running back a with a bunch of nasties chasing you.
Ok, well, knock out the bottom part and they can't even get on the ladder (atleast they didn't used to, I'm not sure if that's changed with the new jumping animations of the zeds and whatnot). And you'll still be able to climb up easy.
Just destroy the ground piece, you can still get on by jumping but zombies arent smart enough for it.
You've never seen those shadowboxing zombies (re-animated corpse model, I think)? They jog along and punch at the air until they come to a one-block ledge. Then they jump up and back down and then up again! Hilarious to watch, especially when they do it several times in a row. But also, maybe a bit worrisome... what if they have their own skill system?? What if they too get better through practice?!?
About ladders, I also don't place the bottom two ladder blocks. I just drop wood frames at the bottom and pick 'em up when the horde arrives. I don't place complete sets of stairs either. I leave a one-block gap, which they don't seem to be able to clear. They keep climbing up and falling back down. Also hilarious to watch.
