Superhuman
During the apocalypse we must become superhuman because currently I can carry enough wood, rock, tools, food...in my inventory to build a house on the spot in record time. I can also run (even through the desert) with all this stuff without breaking into a sweat (even going up hill or climbing a ladder or jumping up or down from heights that would be quite impressive in real life)
I even managed to dig a cave on the side of a hill while carrying mega stuff on my back, fight zombies and after taking a sip of water I was on the road again. Pretty imperssive I would say.
Now don't get me wrong, I love this game (can't stop playing), but if the game aims towards survival and some realism (obviously zombies only exist at work), than this should not be possible and perhaps at some point in time this could be fixed. Unless realism is not your thing.
More hordes, no thanks. Perma-death and limitations on weight carried...yes please.

You're One Punch Man stong is all. Have to take that with a grain of salt though. If everthing was weighted to be realistic no one would be playing this aside from self loathing masochists gamers. Running will make you break a sweat it increases your core temp, and is best avoided when in a desert biome especially.

The reason i like this game so much is it has a good balance of realism but also being a game, its by no means a simulation and i don't think its intended to be.

The building would be a lot more restricted if they cut back what you could carry

Game is under construction....incomplete.. not done.

Are you asking for this feature or just complaining it's not already implemented?

I hope they don't put weight limits into the game. Bag space is already to limited. But they might. Time will tell.

Sorry for you man, you should read the game description and tags better next time. You know... things like "Early Access, Survival, Zombie" are in the tags, but "Simulation" is not in there.

If they put weight limits into the game I will rage like a whiny 6 year old not getting their way. The part I find most fun in these games is the base building aspect. Its why I didn't play Ark for very long. That is a good game, but the weight limits take significant emphasis off the 'sandbox' aspect of it.

TFP has stated they are not doing that already. Not to worry. If they did then they would have to make cranes and forlkifts or something, just so we could move a single voxel of concrete. Not only would pprogression and gameplay grind to a halt then, but the game would change to it construction simulator, which is was never intended to be in the 1st place.

7 Days to Die is an open world, voxel-based, sandbox game that is a unique mash up of First Person Shooter, Survival Horror, Tower Defense and Role Playing Games combining combat, crafting, looting, mining, exploration, and character growth.

This game is not another H1Z1, DayZ or whatever. What you dislike is what makes this game special and would ruin the whole crafting and basebuilding component.

Weight for building - even if only semi realistic would ruin big parts of the game for the crafting/basebuilding part of the community.

On a serious note:
I would go as far as to claim that no one would play a really "realistic" game or will buy it and stop playing it soon.

Just imagine spending 20-60 minutes to gather wood for your fire - then 10-30 minutes to start it - if you even succeed. Then about 20-60 Minutes to prepare your food just to need to sleep about 6-8 hours in real time to keep on plying.

I dont even know how long it would take to cut a tree with a stoneaxe. That are just some examples - maybe the character should also go crazy - i doubt a human can live very long completely isolated in constant life-threatening danger with no perspective beyond surviving.
