7 Days to Die

7 Days to Die

Statistiche:
More survival games with tense PvE?
Personally, I enjoy 7 Days. The zombies provide a common and persistent enemy, whereas human contact can be sporadic and potentially hostile/friendly. Rust currently lacks that 3rd party, which is a shame because it is quite pretty and the building menu is legit. Hurtworld has has non-human enemies, but they're more like loot pinatas.

So far, I've found 3 similar titles.
  • ARK: Survival Evolved. Watching end-game videos makes me think of Pokemon. The dinos are there, but it's not like they are 'alive' or a threat.
  • The Forest: Probably the closest, even though it tends to focus on the singleplayer experience. Still in the very early stages of development.
  • DayZ: Haven't paid attention to this since it was a mod, as far as I know it's 7 Days without a building system.

H1Z1 has a nice feeling PVE, but it lacks too much content because devs there are concentrated mainly on battle royale
Terraria is an awesome PvE game but it's 2d and may not appeal to everyone's personal taste. The amount of content in it is insane and the game will actually provide you a challenge.

It's not similair to 7days at all though other than it being a PvE game that lets you craft, build, and fight enemies.

What do you think of Starbound?
I don't think Terraria or Starbound is a "tense" survival Game. I would add this:

It's okay but Chucklefish takes far, FAR too long to get anything done. Development is far too slow for my taste and I regret buying it because of that. Unfortunately I purchased it before Steam Refunds were a thing.

It'll probably be worth getting whenever it's FINALLY complete though...I plan on replaying it once it's content complete.

Ever beat the Wall of Flesh and enter Hardmode? Fight the mech bosses your first time? Tackle the Lunatic Cultist and the Moonlord? Terraria is very tense once you get past the basics.

Starbound isn't tense at all though, I agree.

Sure those things are fun to do. But you choose to do them and have a tense fight. There is so constant common threat. (I played a lot of Terraria and had a blast with it.) But lets not get to Offtopic, it was just my opinion.
I quite like Empyrion, its like a 7DTD survival/crafting game but within a space setting and what so far seems a really good dev team like we have with this game.

This one is pretty tense with having to keep everything lit up, kind Terreria meets Pitch Black...
haven and hearth is the first surival game i've ever played and still the hardest.
the fighting system to me is its its biggist flaw and its not worth playing unless you download the mod from forums. but it does so many other things right that other games fail at. eveything can kill you and it semi pema death. you keep about 3d of your learning points, and keep your base. sill you've lost weeks worth levaling......unless your teamed up with somone who put in all his skills farming/cooking, someone eles job is etc. oh and killing a other player, stealing from other player you need to learn the skill and best of all you can learn a skill to track down the person's spawn point force the character to spawn in front of you and kill it.

Abandoned alpha
I cant believe no one mentioned THE LONG DARK http://store.steampowered.com/app/305620/ You have 1 life thats it. How many days, weeks, can you make it??? You fight against wolfs and the elements. Nothing is much more intense as about to freeze to death in a blizzard looking for cover in the dark night when you're lost. One bad ass single player game...On sale now and worth it..

Let me know when you find it buddy, I have been looking for a long time myself. Bought plenty of games in the genre and all of them got 1 hour played or less. I haven't found anything similar.

As far as I know that game has no building or PvE in it. I intend to purchase it myself in the future. Correct me if I am wrong too please. I would assume if right however, that this is why it was not mentioned.
No building, you get shelter from prefab cabins/buildings but what do you mean no pve?? player versus environment. Player v/s WEATHER AND WILDLIFE(environment)

I think 7DTD is unique. Is the perfect blend between Minecraft and Zombie Apocalypse.

The Long Dark is the most hardcore among all survival games. I don't think it's attractive to a large number of "normal" players.
