save editing?

Is there a way to edit your save to change your skills because windows just randomly decided to turn off my computer to update in the middle of playing and when i loaded back all my skills, level and inventory had been reset to a newly created character. The world is still the way i left it but my character is f-ed.

ive had the same thing happen to me a few times, and this last time i wasnt in game when windows took its crap to desktop/bloopscreen... i dont mind starting fresh on a fresh world, but this is messing up old maps too much

as a side note ive looked this up on 7DTD forums too, and this issue has yet to have a resolution.. it is an issue with how the saves are made...

well in this case the easiest way would be to use give exp command -> it would level you up -> thus restoring the skill points -> so you can use them to get what you need
