Zombie wake-up sound is loud as ♥♥♥♥
Anyone else experiencing this? When a zombie gets alerted to me their noises are amplified by like atleast 100%, its very noticeable when I interrupt their alert noise by hitting them and their grunts are, as mentioned, 2x quieter.

It is much louder than surrounding sounds including non-zombie ones, yes.

The initial ReAaAaA in the POI when they all wake up is definitely louder than firing my weapon.

Someone probably fd up the sounds but there's not a lot of QA people working at TFP (as you mightve realized)
Zombie wake up. What a strange game this has become. All the zombies are asleep except on blood moons where a special group of non sleeping zombies travel to your location from some far off location, because the zombies in all the houses in the city you are in just keep snoozing forever until you wake them. Must be chill to be a zombie in the 7 days world.
Its the sleeping dogs that get me. They are just so adorable all curled up dreaming. I can't kill them till they wake up and get angry.

Which brings us back to the point, that I really think the player character is the evil one in this world.

I mean imagine all the Zs finnaly have found their personal Shangri-la, and us causing uproar, stress and final death to their community, just to amass welaths and luxurious real estate for ourselfs.
I suspect the volume of the wake-up noise is intentional so it's very obvious you just made something angry and to get ready. Like you aren't going to confuse idle zombie growls with a wake-up one right now.

womp womp for them, they are a plague, im trying to build a mansion and ride around in a jeep with a personal gyrocopter in a post-apocalyptic world to live my best life :Rubber_Duck:

I mean I never had any problem hearing the zombies I alert/wake up in the past. All the volume increase (intentional or not) has done is make me more urgent in smacking them in the face ASAP so they can shutup and stop blowing out my speakers LOL
Audio in this game has no distance.

You hear super loud zombie as they are near you when they are 30 meters away. It totally spoils the experience and they never fixed it since a decade.
