Report a translation problem
It is much louder than surrounding sounds including non-zombie ones, yes.
The initial ReAaAaA in the POI when they all wake up is definitely louder than firing my weapon.
Someone probably fd up the sounds but there's not a lot of QA people working at TFP (as you mightve realized)
I mean imagine all the Zs finnaly have found their personal Shangri-la, and us causing uproar, stress and final death to their community, just to amass welaths and luxurious real estate for ourselfs.

I mean I never had any problem hearing the zombies I alert/wake up in the past. All the volume increase (intentional or not) has done is make me more urgent in smacking them in the face ASAP so they can shutup and stop blowing out my speakers LOL
You hear super loud zombie as they are near you when they are 30 meters away. It totally spoils the experience and they never fixed it since a decade.
