Also, on the secondary stats tab, what does it say your Gamestage rating is while you're in the area you were fighting the horde?
You brought that on yourself...lol.
maybe with 10 fully loaded and upgraded T6 M60, recog, preacher gloves and 3k piercing ammo... but i cant get this on day 7 come on xD I just got the bicycle xD
Therein lies the issue. You've greatly accelerated your exp gain by a much greater magnitude than skill, gear and loot can manage AND being in the hardest / end game biome the game has to offer.. This Day 7 horde is closer to what one would expect at day 28-35 or greater under normal progression speed.
I don't think the game expects you do do your first 7 day in the Wasteland.
Not impossible, you were just not prepared.
Being lvl 50 in the wasteland sounds like you got the exact horde night you should expect, lol. Try to do it in the forest next time, and work your way up as you get those 10 m60s loaded up.
Bumping XP rate to 300% and 120m days does not make the game easier, it does quite the opposite.
Getting out of wasteland would help a lot, but even so, being level 50 is going to scale things pretty high against you. Playing default settings, I was about level 50 or so by day 35, so you're way ahead.
Be careful modifying the game settings like experience gain and day length as nothing in the game is built to balance scaling when you do and your changes might yield issues like what you faced in that horde.
Note, you were basically at end game in terms of character level, where you should be rocking level 5-6 armor and late game weaponry, starting to unlock the last tiers of gun like the M60, SMG and other such weapons while driving around in a motorcycle or 4x4. Not necessarily having nothing left to work for, but you should have been decked for that kind of horde based on your level. Again, you scaled way too hard too fast.
Also, like said above, moving to the hardest biome, the wasteland, that made the game stage increase and you got harder zombies, most people know this, unless you're fairly new to the game, but surviving in the wasteland from day 1 is 100% doable and can be achieved, I have done it many times, including 1.0 but you would have to understand the game more.
wasteland biome. the worst choice for horde base. entirely self made problem. tc only got himself to blame for this.
day 7 but set daylength to double. so day 14 in reality progression wise. again. made so by the tc himself.
300% exp. so day 42 in reality actually level wise. again. made by the tc himself only.
coupled with wasteland biome bonus. yes. this horde made perfect sense to be like that. and its totally fair aswell. nothing broken here. entirely self made problem.
i not agree, i can deal every horde with my game settings, even with x64 zombie multiplicator, but on 21 day+ and further, not before that; in my opinion thats not working right
