This is what ruins Tier 6 POI's
After having torn apart the entire POI from top to bottom. Sprinting at top speed. Using power tools out of stealth. Throwing grenades in every single possible room. Firing off a couple rockets into the walls.

Painstakingly checking every single ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ room. And no. Can't find the last zombies that requires me to walk past a special line in order for 10 zombies to crawl out of the ether and jump out at me.

Spending 3 days and having to give up the quest reward. This isn't the first time either.

♥♥♥♥ your tier 6 POI's.

what actually ruins tier 6 pois is the fact they are fully useless. you will have tier 6 everything long before you ever unlock them.

The last zombies shows up as red dots on you compass.
Of the many things they've changed over the years, one of my least favorite is trigger spawned zombies. The zombies ONLY know I'm here if I walk into the right spot. Breaking down two blocks to gain entry into a building, and find a zombie on the other side the is oblivious to my existence, even after blowing up the blocks literally behind him, kills alot of the fun.

Zombies only show on the compass if you aggro them.

Not if you are doing an elimin
Eliminate mission. He talked about
Quest rewards.

I have the same problem, sometimes I can't find them and that can be very frustrating. As it seems to me, only those at your height are displayed in red and possibly 3m up and down everything above that is not displayed. If there is only one group of zombies left, this group is displayed with a yellow marker. But if you have not found several groups you will search until you are frustrated. Some really only appear if you have walked somewhere and you were loud. Others are triggered when you are physically present. I hope the devs will add the feature that after a while all of them will be displayed.

I agree triggered zombies can be frustrating at times. They can work well but if you can't find the switch you need to press to activate them or you use another way in because you can't find the "intended route", the game needs to have a means of spawning them anyway once you've passed that point so you don't have the OP's problem of trying to find the "hidden" zombies.

yeah, imo no zombies should be triggered. Unless your using the broken assassin's outfit, stealth builds don't have a way to take out the zombies that don't actually exist until you step into the right area.

Agree. I’ve had to quit a few due to not finding all zombies.

One time for me, it was a switch for a steel door that didn't work. Destroyed the switch, zombies magically appeared right in front of me. Absolutely cretinous game sometimes.

Same, one of the factories has a steel roll-up door. The switch didn't work. Breaking through the wall into the room....no zombies.

The zombies don't even appear until you hit the switch, but they're still counted among the ones you need to kill for "completion".

Mac has it right, the solution I found was the same, destroying the switch counted as activating it (despite the switch not being interactable), and triggered the zombies (and the door).

It's an obnoxious workaround, but necessary because of the REALLY obnoxious problem.

had this yesterday. a demo exploded near a military tent on one of the schools. so im guessing it blew up a button and there for i couldnt trigger the last batch of zombies. though breaking them is supposed to set it off anyway, so not sure. they should have an option at any time for the quest to trigger all zombies in the poi. just like every zombie spawns in and goes into blood moon rage mode. make it easy to find the problem ones, and provide a new self imposed challenge on the masochistic players.

Any elimination quest should auto complete if you have killed 90%. That's it. Don't matter if they never activated in the ceiling or failed to spawn in as red dots or are inside the walls or floor. It just needs to complete even if there are 10% left on the map. And it should never ever include birds or dogs, or if they go slightly away they despawn. HIgh tiers you run just for fun and XP imo, and you never run elimination quests on the ones that have multiple trigger rooms.

Trigger zombies don't untill you activate the spawn trigger.
I had a problem like this with few POIs.

Most notable example was the Police station. Was searching it top to bottom for the last zombies , nothing on map i searched every inch ready to give up ... Only to notice i havent pressed garage open button. I pressed it and magically zombies spawned outside the fence where there were NONE before prior to pressing the button.

And i was finally able to finish this Clear.

I mean, if you are just sprinting through the POI blowing it up and destroying it willy nilly, of course you're going to have a tough time thoroughly clearing it. Just use your compass, it shoes you where zombies are, and if not, the area they should spawn in.
