They keep removing things that don't need to be removed. There was no good reason to remove those chests. It didn't need to be changed. This may be a small change, but it's a big deal - it's just another symptom of the TFP over-simplification and dumbing down virus that's slowly killing off what this game used to be, preventing it from becoming what it should have been...
I'm just saying - they didn't have to be full block sized. Even 3/4 block size, so I could paint/repair around them, would be great.
Less variety is not better.
And I still can't upgrade/repair from the crate side. At least not that I've figured out.
Edit: ah well. Not a huge deal (for me) like I said - just annoying. At least I can creative or mod a workaround.
The chests are the same size as the writable chests, most players would move on to anyway, which are much easier to organize with. Repairs would not be needed if the stash is in a well protected place. You shouldn't really need to paint behind the chests either. Not like you can really see behind them. Otherwise, I'd refrain from upgrading chests until I had the place settled. It's cheap to replace a wood box (iron is not that bad either, but less convenient to destroy).
Yep, this says it all.
