You can pick only one :)
TFP's problem here is how the game is coded, they've got one type of elemental resistance that works both ways, they can't have the smoothie only provide heat resistance. on the one hand it's simpler to implement on a first pass. much like the clothes, they'll iterate this stuff eventually.
Well, I don't know about post-apocalyptic yucca but real life yucca fruit has a mild sweet taste, no spiciness. And the game recipe is yucca, blueberries and snow.
Anyway, I liked how it was in older alphas where you could make yucca juice to hydrate and cool down when in the desert, and coffee to keep you warm in the snow biome.
This reminds me of when someone complained about the "realism" of long garments like a leather duster helping to keep you cool. I explained the science behind how body length garments worn by desert dwelling peoples actually do keep them cool. There's a reason desert dwelling people wear long full body robes, not shorts and a t-shirt.
IIRC the values for that drink come from an old (A10??) drink involving snowberries.
Ain't that the truth!
Oh, I totally agree. I'm just saying maybe that's what we have to pretend now.....to let it slide with our logic pallette, lol.
