Unlocking trader tiers

Suppose I have 2 traders in pine forest (Rekt A and B)

- I do 5 quests for A
- 5 for B

Will this unlock the mission to go to the next biome?

yes. you can also just go to the next biome find the trader and do x-10 tier missions for them and you would also get the 10 complete reward. it doesnt matter WHERE you do 10 tier 10 quests. just that you do em. see your progress inside your questlog.

assuming youre in the 1.0 experimental build, EVERY quest you do for ANY trader advances you closer to the next tier.

all traders share their tier now. so getting rekt to tier 2 also gets jen, joel, hugh, and bob to tier 2.

so you can do quests for rekt until tier 5, then take the quest to meet jen, she'll already have the quest for bob, he will have the one for hugh, and he will have the one for joel. without ever doing a single quest for any of them.

Trader stuck at tier 2

I have progressed to the point were he should have given me the trade route quest but he never did so now i am stuck on tier 2 forever?

go to the second trader you unlocked he/she has the quest to go to the third trader third send u to forth and so on

If you're playing experimental A22/1.0 the trader tier system has changed.

Under the new system, each trader can only give one trade route quest for only one trader. Rekt can only give the trade route quest for Jen. Jen can only give the trade route quest for Bob. Etc.

To get the next trade route quest, you'll need to go to Jen and get it from her.

Tier progression isn't tied to trade route quests, so that shouldn't be affected. You should be able to get tier 3 jobs from Rekt either on the next ingame day or by leaving and re-entering the game, same as before. Then tier 4, 5, 6.

Trade route quests are only partially tied to job tier progression. You can unlock trade route quests by doing any jobs for any trader. You just need to go to the relevant trader to get the quest, not to unlock it.

leveling Up trader Missions

Anyone else notice that their traders aren't leveling up the missions nearly as fast? ive done a bunch of mission for one trader and i usually would be on at least level 2 by now but I just keep getting the same level ones. No opening trade routes either

Assuming you're playing experimental A22/1.0:

The points requirements for trader job tiers have been increased by almost 50%.

On the plus side, the mission section now shows how many trader job points you have and how many are required for the next tier. So if you're interested in that you no longer have to scroll through your list of completely jobs and add up the points.

no just that but also the trader teir is shared amoung all traders no more working on trader jen then having to restart at trader hugh its all in 1 lvl up system so even if its like 10 quests per teir so like 60 quests total now might seem more but thats out of context in context we had to do 35 per trader and theres wat? 5 traders so thats 175 or so to max every trader its down by 1/3rd what it used to be at the cost of abit more per tier... good exchange overall imo
