And it has NEVER been mentioned at any single time that the infection you contract is that "zombie virus" or else why would generic antibiotics or even herbal remedies and honey be able to get rid of it. This. The infection that you get in game is not of the "zombie maker" type of infection, it is the gangrene type of infection. If you want to make a case for sealed hazmat zombies to carry this at a higher rate, it's not a stretch to propose that dealing with rotting corpses (non-zombie) has coated the suit in a nice film of necrotic bacteria.
