I was shooting one from a roof and I swear it ate like 2 clips from my 9 mil and half a dozen arrows. Those things are gods...

I had night vision goggles on during a horde night when I saw the new wolf. I saw it charging behind a cop and group of zombies and was like "What the hell is that?!"

Are they supposed to be the same things as those larger wolves with the feral eyes? Because I found one with the old model in the animal horder house. But then three of the new modeled Dire Wolves showed up on the day 21 horde. Or are Dire Wolves all new entities because I've never seen one in a horde before now.

i had one night 7, but it might all depend on game stage too.

as for the old models, not sure, i would love to adopt a wolf cause the model they had (not sure about the new model) was adorable

New Dire wolf OP

Is it just me or is the new dire wolf WAY to op for how early it spawns. In the desert on nomad difficulty they where spawning night 3 and on day 7 horde night 2 spawned at the same time ripping through my setup.

Another time 1 spawned in a POI and survived alot of level 4 spear stabs to the head with near max spear buffs.

I cant be the only one who thinks they are way over tuned.

That's what those things were!? I just did my second horde night in the desert and those big wolf things spawned! They ripped through my walls and after the night was over, one was left. That wolf took 3 sledgehammer power attacks (had a level 2 iron sledegehammer at the time) straight to the face and still killed me cause of it's insane damage(and how much it can tank). How are we supposed to defeat that on early horde nights!? It's faster, much stronger than you, and can take hits like a tank!
