Please add visible stats to uncrafted items
I know it's a feature that's never been included, but I do think it would be very beneficial to be able to see what the stats on craftable items before I craft them. Seeing how much food/healing/water/etc. is on each meal before I make it, the damage/stamina use on weapons before I craft them, the armor rating on gear before I craft it. I've been avoiding upgrading to iron tools and weapons because I don't want to potentially waste the resources on something that isn't as powerful as my tier 5 stone gear. By showing the stats in-game before crafting, that will help me and others clearly know if/when an upgrade is truly beneficial.

For food and other consumables it would work, but for tools, weapons, armor it can vary. There is some "randomness" built in, which usually meant you craft something worse than you could loot. I don't know if this has changed, haven't craft much.

You can just turn on the creative menu and look at it. It's able to be turned on in game settings.

You can just look through the creative menu and see guns, armors etc. You can even see the armor and damages for all the tier colors because it shows random qualities of each item.

It's pretty helpful if you want to see them👍

Edit: it disables achievements though if that's something you care about.

I agree with OP, I hate not knowing the stats.

That's fine, even a worst case scenario is better than nothing.

I don't know if it's changed either, but if it hasn't then they could just show ranges, like "Block Damage: 65-70". It would be nice to know if you rolled a maxed item.

1.0 released today...thought I'd start a new sp playthrough (I had aprox 35ish hours in alpha 21)

Was about to craft some primitive shoes..
And couldn't find their armor rating BEFORE crafting them..thought I just didn't k ow where to look..

Then I found this post.
It's RIDICULOUS the game doesn't show a min or "base" rating for anything...

The game can be fun...but WOW these devs got away with just murder...

1.0 is a joke...the price is a joke...and their "Next Game" is a serious joke...

All those resources going into Blood Moon should have been going into 7DtD...

$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
Well look at Mr. Fancy UI here! What's next? Craft queue priority? Hot keys that always do the same action? No repetitive strain injury from dumping planks into forges? This is the next evolution in survival horror, pal. The UI is supposed to be a nightmare!
