My post was deleted?

I asked a question about why cities only spawn in the wasteland explaining that the way I like to play is survive the horde on the 7th night and then try to find a city, build on the edge on one and use it as my base of operations. Why was that deleted? There are posts literally complaining and being offensive about the game and yet mine was deleted when I asked a question???

It was either moved or merged. Check your post history for a link to it.

Mods move and merge posts a lot in this forum. You don't normally see it in steam forums because they don't have active moderators but this forum does so it's moderated properly

They also delete my posts so your not alone they want us to be silenced.

Steam gives the same message that your post was deleted, even when it is just moved. That is not something the moderators have control of it is just steam automation.

You'll see alot of posts that get moved into larger threads that cover the same topic or answer the same query.

If your post was actually deleted then you posted something that moderators would have agreed to delete so was probably deserved. I haven't seen anything get deleted because of others posting dumb stuff, maybe it could cause it to be locked, but i don't know what message or notification Steam would send in that case.

By looking at the right-side navigation of the forum, and click on the link labeled "Post History. It is easily defined as being located in the section under the "YOUR ACCOUNT" header. Steam Forum use 101. This is pretty basic.

Some reason I thought the post history was always in the bell so I only check there to go back to my posts.

So i looked at the Steam forum use 101 like you said but couldnt find anything with that header , i did however find one called Steam community 101. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=402492882 ,And couldn't see anything regarding post history ?

For one thing its not right in front of you, So when you go back to your post it says moved or deleted which can mean 2 things its deleted or moved but doesnt tell you where. Post history is pretty hidden and not right in front of you. And the bell is right there and it shows who replied to your msg but when you goto look it says moved or deleted. Which means some can be deleted and Im pretty sure some of my posts been deleted so how am I suposed to assume it wasnt.
