Dual wielding pistols
We should be able to combine two pistols into a dual wielded version.

The new weapon created by doing so could just add up the two pistols stats into one item, and of course appear as the player wielding a gun in each hand.

The most idiotic thing to do with any firearm is to dual wield, be it real life or a zombie game for the many many reasons I hope I would not have to list to anyone ever.

Why? Just use an SMG-5 with a drum mag mod. You are essentially asking for a pistol with more bullets. That's the SMG-5, and it has more damage too. As for adding the stats of two pistols into one: this would make the pistol the best weapon in the game for pretty much every situation. I wouldn't advise this.

I suggest asking the modding community to change the appearance of the pistol to a dual wield version, if that doesn't already exist for 1.0

cant be anymore idiotic than drinking water to put out a fire or being able to not take fall damage from greater high because you happen to have 5000 bronze coins in your pocket or the fact i can carry 30ish diff weapons full of ammo that should require an entire truck to hold or carrying a dump trucks worth of stone and ore without being crushed under its weight... its a game so even if its idiotic irl that has no bearing in a game if its done right

I'd rather have a flash light in 1 hand and a 1 handed melee weapon in the other than going full Akimbo

Sure...and then we should miss with almost every shot past a couple of metres.

I get the "it looks cool onscreen" thing. But it doesn't. It just looks foolish. It's like dual-wielding longswords or the swirly-twirly dancing while holding swords that's often passed off as sword fighting. Or the people hacking away at each other's swords that's often passed off as sword fighting. Or the "schwwiiiinnng!" noise whenever a blade is drawn. Etc, etc.

given the TFP's push for 7days to be a glorified looter shooter in the past six years, it's fitting lmfao

Duel wield is totally awesome. I will ignore anything about it being unrealistic in here. Lol

I'd love to have it. It's a silly game anyway sooo... why not?

Welcome to the 7dtd forums, where realism doesn't matter until it affects a game mechanic you care about.

Sure, you can dual wield pistols, reloading will get you killed as you juggle them. Dropping the clip, no problem, getting the clip back in with both hands full? Oh, so you are going to tuck one under an arm while you load the other?

In the long run, your accuracy will go down and you will waste a lot of bullets. Works for me, go for it!

You animate the hands rising up as both clips drop from the pistols. Hands go below field of view. *noises* guns return fully loaded.

It's like you think dual wielding and it's unrealistic nature has never been addressed in video games lol.

I want dual wield flash lights and dual wield torches.

You can have dual wield, when I can have a light saber.
