Assassin Boots noise
Assassin boots give -100% stealth sprint noise, I think this is what makes it so when I stealth sprint I am harder to detect than when I move normally in stealth.
This is quite annoying, it should be -100% noise from movement in stealth not just sprinting. Having to hold down shift while moving in stealth is not fun.

I think it's meant to remove the additional noise while sprinting, no?

PS: bring back the old armor system... the new one is shallow as a puddle

I'll never understand the complaint of "I have to hold movement keys down".

Yeah, the dyes don't even work on them. I wonder what the reasoning was behind changing the system entirely instead of just adding the new models, and reworking the old ones for the new models/slots.

They removed even more of the games mechanics and made some of the things a bit OP if you are used to RPGs.

The way it function, if you don't hold down sprint key you have 8 detection during night vs 0 if you hold down sprint key. ~40-50 during day vs 20-30 during day holding shift.
Every step you take, every time between attack between looting etc you need to hold down shift if you want to reduce detection.
It doesn't cost stamina or anything else, it is just bothersome. It could always be active but it isn't.
It is bothersome so I only do it like 1% of the time when I really need it.

Also there is a toggle for sprinting but it turns off every time you stop so you need to toggle it every few seconds if using that.

Why do you have to hold shift down?

I only have to hold "W" permanently to sprint while crouching. All other related keys have to be tapped only once.

There is a gameplay option to keep sprinting activated when stopping movement. Feels weird to me in buildings, but maybe it's what you are looking for.

Actually that solves it. Thank you. Didn't know about the sprint lock. Just tried it out and it made stealth sprint work good.
