You are not supposed to be in a tier 3 poi at day 1, and you shouldn't even be in the burned forest at day1
It's all depending on your experience, the way you play (e.g. no trader use), difficulty and many other things.
E.g. i started once with my brother at max difficulty in wasteland biom and we needed ~20 days till we get a bit of stabilty in our questing and basebuilding. We died really a lot^^
I would say something like this is an ok guideline if you care:
Be Warned - spoiler ahead, if you don't know all the bioms, weapons, poi tiers so far
burned forest - day 5
desert - day 10
snow - day 15
wasteland - day 25
poi
0 tier - day 1
1 tier - day 2
2 tier - day 5
3 tier - day 10 (with at least a pistol)
4 tier - day 15 (with at least one good backup weapon, e.g. double barrel or ak47)
5 tier - day 25 (with at least mid game weapon like assault rifle or pump action)
6 tier - day 35 (with at least one fully automated end game weapon)
But always note that a tier 1 poi in wasteland at night could be harder as a tier 4 poi in pine forest at day.
The biom is as important as the poi.
You got lucky in a sense. The biome progression is:
Forest
Burnt Forest
Desert
Snow
Wasteland
So you could easily have spawned in a harder biome than the burnt forest. The big step up is from snow to wasteland. Especially at night, when the wasteland can have a zombie spawn rate high enough to ensure you remain at max spawn zombies all night, worse than a horde night. And watch out for landmines, which are pretty common in the wasteland.
That's for vanilla. Some overhaul mods get much harder than end game vanilla. Then there's War3zUK, which starts harder than endgame vanilla.
