Attention Fun Pimps
progression has been slowed way too much, respect our time pls. Traders are near useless with their crazy high buy prices and insane sell prices not to mention they now peddle garbage which makes me not even want to bother with them. controller bindings really need to go back to how they were. My favorite game went from fun to meh real quick. ps i still cant stand the mag update.

That was pretty much the entire point. Traders are not supposed to be the defacto choice in every situation; You're not supposed to be grinding quests at them all day every day and buying everything you'll ever need.

It's supposed to be balanced enough vs looting that you could do one, or the other, or both, So that you don't feel that by skipping out on the trader you're artificially handicapping yourself.

Trader was insanely incredibly overpowered before and that made it the defacto choice, and it made many feel like they MUST use the trader, like that is the only way the game is meant to be played- And it's not.

No, respectfully disagree. In A21 you could pretty much deal with everything on day 28 when you didn´t even have full lasting blood moons yet. And that could be achieved by simply spamming quests. Traders were OP af and crafting was useless.

I didn´t even play 1.0 yet but slow down of progression is good.

idk if you are a dev or what but the game is way too grindy now, its no longer fun and i put at least 30hrs into the update. 300hr player and if i got my hands on this copy first i would be at 30 and prob never touch it again, whatever the reasons this is my honest opinion. its not just the traders but loot in general is just not doing it for me. and at least add a classic option for controller bindings as the new confiq is an arrow to the knee for me.

Explore, build, harvest, kill zombies, craft. You'll have so much xp and good loot you'll not know what to do with it. Quest are okay but I get way more just playing the game rather than grinding one aspect.

@Scottmiser It´s called the survival horde crafting game. Loot shouldn´t be your main source of items. This isn´t a loot shooter.

I was making a point that the progression could be way too fast doing quests and that a trader nerf was badly needed.

you cant craft what isnt unlocked man im not here for player input, im trying to add constructive crit to the dev team. the mid game is too dragged out to make me want to get to the endgame.

If you want to talk to TFP go to the game's official forum, not the store where you bought it.

But progression was insanely fast before, it needed to be slowed. Not even just from traders, though they were the worst offenders.

are you kidding, im still finding things progressing at a fast paced. i am enjoying the slow down. I approve of the new trader rewards also. the new rewards are very fitting for the early game stage.

And you do that on the steam forums? Yeah, no. Pretty much no developer, no matter wich game, reads the steam forums, only the small ones do sometimes. Offical forums is the place to post that.

Disagree. The game went way too fast for the past several alphas. By day 28 you were pretty much untouchable with high end gear and vehicles. Much of it because of the insane trader.

I honestly don't see the fun in reaching end game gear, and having no challenges and nothing left to find so quickly.

There is no Dev team here. If you really want to make you opinion heard by TFP go here: https://community.7daystodie.com/

I remember When intelligence build were the definitive meta, because you could just buy better stuff, more and faster at traders too, definitely good that it's not as optimal now.

Don't forget being able to take two quest rewards at a time from a list of 5. Oh, 500 steel blocks and a full set of Q6 top-tier armor? For me? You shouldn't have!

For me its really a case of sharing information in a place where it would be blindingly obvious for them to find since most of their sales are here so one would assume this, if they choose to actively ignore that constructive feedback in such a place its not a loss for me to overcome, but for them. So the Sony customers find some dissatisfaction or game-breaking in the game and the devs are non-respondent, you think Sony would chase them to the TFP forums? Or is this forum not representative of your game as the developers publish to the platform? I understand its about semantics and funnelling traffic into digestable channels but c'mon, that's just ignorant. Coming off like Twitch streamers that strategically actively ignore you until you subscribe to them is a small-minded mentality. I'll grant some exception to the fact that everyone can always find something to moan about somewhere whether justified or not, including myself. But once again its about granting yourself the platform that your users connect with you. Mind you 90% of the complaints on this forum are about the things the developers have done to the game. So you can argue your relevant success in that regard if you just did nothing that would give people things to moan about. So let's say I have 1000 games and a facility to engage with the community on the centralized platform, so must I now go bookmark and memorize 1000 different websites? Anyways, I'll go there to their forum when I feel better about my standing with the company.
