Plenty of games have been in EA longer TBH. Project Zomboid, Star Citizen, Unreal World and Kenshi to name just a few.
Yeah it is a bit out of the blue.
With this and the new game they are coming out which is just a minigame of 7 days to die, it seems they are desperate to make money right now.
I wonder what everyone else is thinking.

It doesn't really mean anything, I'm assuming they just got sick of reading the early access jokes. I've been around since Alpha 6, so I don't even blink when I see that roadmap. Back to business as usual.
Oh, I do feel bad for the console players, though. "♥♥♥♥ you very much for waiting, now buy it again."
