Not going to happen. Also you would not want to do that in this game... Presuming you want a realistic-ish amount of weight, Building a Single wooden block would take you five to ten back and forth trips based on the material involved. A single cobblestone block would be 10 or more. You'd fill your inventory looting a single building; 80% of your weight would be your armor and equipment.

No, I enjoy being able to carry 4000 metric tons of material in my pocket at the cost of, on occasion, being slowed down by a feather (that I can drop at any time) slowing me down.

It's funny to me how many people latch onto "Zomg, feather slowed me down!" while blithely ignoring the 4x4 in their pocket, the literal tons of stone, the 50lbs of ammo, the 150lbs of gear and equipment, etc. Slots treat everything equally.

Once Undead Legacy gets updated for 1.0, enjoy.
There's your weight-based inventory.

this is assuming the devs didnt spend any time at all balancing weight. if done properly it would be much better than an extremely limited and outdated and lazy slot system

You can make your own game just saying its bit late to redo the entire inventory system from scratch just to make one fanboy happy..

not sure fanboy applies here as I am against a game feature, not diligently defending a game feature which is what fanboys of games tend to do.

I like that in some games but I don't want it in this game since you have to carry an enormous amount of crafting materials.

It would almost seem more unrealistic if you had a weight system and were also carrying 6000 scraps of lead (or whatever the amount would be) in your pack. Lol

Subquake did do an amazing job of incorporating it into Undead Legacy. Pretty impressively done

Because for those who don't know a fanboy is the one who plays 400+ hours, and got list of grievences. You guys been misled by real fanboys. Go to a conviction the ones with most complaints are the ones with most time and money invested into said franchise lol. Trust me the worst Marvel fans I know are the first ones to explain how they would make better movies, yet still go see every movie in theaters. Real fanboys are that comic book store owner from Simpsons I don't how people don't know that.

The real ones are the first to complain about a feature they don't like or something feel broke the cannon. They don't defend the game, they are its worst critics lol. Fanboys are you ok they play hundreds of hours, and again they got list greivenses. CASUALS are the ones who go "but it works, who cares." see there is diffrence you guys want the casuals to be the fanboys but in the end you the ones going "actwuallly" and then telling us everything you would done diffrent if you were the lead game dev lol

if you were not a fanboy you wouldn't have 400+ hours in this game with this in it with these feature that was in since day one, and be complaining like now 1.0 is here we should change it for you lol

Me wanting a different inventory and only having 400 hours in a game is considered being a fanboy? You do know the word fan, is in fanboy right? If I was a "fan" of the game, more specifically a game feature, I wouldn't be on here complaining about it in the first place, I would be praising the game feature, or the game itself. 400 hours is baby hours in a game like this and I certainly don't play it a lot so again, not the right use of fanboy.

Really? That's too bad. I haven't played it since probably A18. Great mod for weight based inventory, and being grindy early.

It's been pretty much superseded by Afterlife, which has most of its features, including weight-based inventory.

I honestly don't think a weight based system would work well in as game where you have to carry car engines, and 500 cubic meters of concrete around pretty much as a matter of necessity.
