All I Get Is A Wall Of Red Text
I have installed this game to a newly formatted hard drive. No mods. No changes. Just a straight install and when ever I to just start the game it just starts running red text in the console.

Does anyone know how to fix this so I can actually play the game?

You didn't say whether your new hard drive is your operating system drive, or just another internal/external drive. If it's not the operating system drive, then do the following:

1. Go here C:\Users\me\AppData\Roaming\7DaysToDie via %appdata%

2. Look for the mods folder. Delete everything inside.

3. Start a new world and new game with a new character.

Its on an external harddrive and there is no mods folder in that file path. The install is fresh.

Does the game launch at all? when does the error happen? on launch or when joining a game?

It launches but after the "Fun Pimps" screen it starts to go to the main menu where this console comes down half the screen and just starts spamming red text

I think the external hard drive will be the issue, can you install it on the internal drive?

But also try right clicking the game in steam and verifying the game install files.

What are the errors you're getting? Take a screenshot of the text and post it here.

I posted a screenshot to my account as I have no idea how to upload screens here

Click the screenshot, and then the settings icon, click share, copy, then paste the URL in a post. Of course, the screenshots have to be visible to the public.

Regardless, I want you to try something. Can you go back to C:\Users\me\AppData\Roaming\7DaysToDie ?

Back-up both the GeneratedWorlds and Saves folders.

Now delete everything inside both of those folders except the serveradmin.xml file inside the saves folder.

Start up your game to test it.

Okay, one last thing before I go to bed. In that saves folder, check to see if the serveradmin.xml file is read only in its properties. If it is, uncheck it and apply before closing the window.

I've been searching a possible solution all throughout Reddit and older posts in these forums, but so far, I really can't understand why you're having this issue without mods and with those folders removed.

The only time I've gotten that error was when an overhaul mod wasn't working properly.

What else could it be? I mean surely, if it's happening to you, then it should be happening to my game as well. What makes your game different than mine? I'm just thinking out loud, hoping someone else will give you the solution I couldn't.

Did you try God Bless The Dead's suggestions? Verify files? Reinstall onto an internal hard drive?

There is a Pinned thread on how to report an issue. Follow the instructions and share the url to the log you uploaded to Pastebin.

Also note that this is an extremely bad idea for a Voxel game that requires quick access to client and save files.

every other game I have works on my external hardrives and even this one did too untill recently

Every other game is not a fully 3D Voxel game that is still in development. It likely is not related to your issue, but you are going to have decreased performance. This game needs a minimum of SSD-level transfer rates, and even with NVMe's in external storage you only get about half of that 90% of the time.

The wall of red text is a wall of errors. The details on those errors are in your log data. If you want help, provide the logs. Or you can just follow the standard protocol of nuking everything and starting with a clean slate. All of which is covered in the Pinned threads.

Dont know why we are not looking at the actual log file?
<drive>:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\7DaysToDie\logs
Can you open the latest log file and post the stacktrace here. The screenshot is less than useful in determining the error - it only shows the first line of the staccktrace.
