And despite the rumors, TFP have been letting us try it early for 10 years now. Hence the term Early Access.
Actually, you don't have to start over then, either. You can keep playing Alpha 21 as long as you want, then go over to the new release when you're ready. You can even keep a version of Alpha 21 on your computer to keep playing, and install the new version to try it out. There are tutorials on how to install multiple game versions. Have fun.
If this=/=fun , change the diffliculty settings or whatevertheballs have you to suit.
If still no fun. Find something else to play. :)
Not to mention all of us helped fund the 10 year development
Yeah conflating updates coming out a bit earlier than posted with, the game being an EA game is pretty wild lol. Early access does not...remotely...mean updates coming out a few days sooner LOL
But with the road map of functions being added, I would take a good guess that you'll have to restart regardless in 1.0 when those functions gets added in. So if you don't like the repeat grind, then wait until 2026 when everything should be added in.
You can buy it whenever you feel like.
It's a really fun game with friends, but I will warn you.
I'd recommend waiting to make a long term world, as there is a chance with 1.0, you may have to make a new world due to the changes.
So either wait, or just get it and don't get too attached to your world in case of this.
It's still a fun game and I'd recommend it either way.
I've been playing since about 2016 or 2017 I think, I'd have to check my PS4 install date.
Still stands regardless. If you're wondering whether or not now is the time to come back, and you're willing to wait, then waiting for the finished product is more worth the time. Speaking for myself, 1.0 isn't an incentive to come back. I'm waiting for the full, promised features to come out - if ever.
