How do I get the game to run in 64 Bit mode?
I've been looking everywhere can't figure out how to start the game in 64 Bit mode?

The launcher doesn't have an option for it.

Any ideas?

That should actually be the default mode AFAIK. :reconfused:

As of I think either A16 or A17, the game is completely 64bit; There is no 32bit option anymore. The game simply requires more than 2gb of ram hands down, but 2gb is the limit with 32bit.

My installation runs as a 64-bit image. It also uses far more than 4gb of ram (which is a dead giveaway).

Can I ask what information tells you it is running as 32bit?

(Note: I am not attacking you. I haven't had good luck trying to help people in the past 24 hours though.)

I've tried to start the game with WeMod and it states that the game version is currently running in 32 bit mode... Bit confused tbh.

First, what version are you running? (I suppose it is remotely possible you are running A8.)

Second, Launch the game normally. Look at how much memory it is using. If it is more than 4gb, then the exe is 64bit Also you can look at the memory frame size of the exe in Process Explorer (a utility app in windows) if you know how to use that.

I can tell you ahead of time, Windows says A17/A18/A19 are 64-bit. And you should trust Windows more than wemod in this case.

States that I am running Alpha 18.4.

Yep.

Fair enough, guess WeMod doesn't support the game anymore.

Oh well thanks alot guys!

I was losing my mind trying to find a 64bit option in the launcher!

i did a little search:
when you use Wemod, it seems you have to start the Game first and then you activate Wemod.

1.Launch the game first via the game’s launcher (ie Steam, Epic Launcher, etc). Wait until you
are on the main menu.
2. Press Alt+Tab on your keyboard to switch to WeMod. Press Play.
3. Alt+Tab back to the game.

try it out, maybe that works.

I managed to get it working by creating a custom path for the game to launch through WeMod and it worked but thanks anyway!

Everyone's help was much appreciated.

So THIS is why so many people have been asking about how to run in 64-bit lately? To use a cheat engine?

That's pretty bad if you need a cheat engine for something like this.

If WeMod is the cheat engine that lets you mess with graphic options that the game doesn't give you access to, I'm guessing it might be for that rather than cheating...unless it's people doing bad things in multiplayer, that's totally possible too I suppose if WeMod isn't easily detected for some reason (though I think it IS and can get you banned from many competitive multiplayer games).

If I want to mess around with the game and play with some cheats whats so wrong about that?

I've played this game plenty and thoroughly enjoy it without cheats but I just wanted to mess about on my own for abit...
