A19 Metal Siding gone?

Or did it get merged with something else? It's really confusing when you merge things and they don't show up if you search for them. Anything merged should pop up when you search for said item in my opinion even if it's not the "main block". If you can access it through "Shape" menu it should show up in search I think.

Or did they remove it from being able to craft? I still see it lying around everywhere.

I think you might craft it in the forge as the metal fence (which has a shape menu when holding the block in your hand and holding the "R" button) and then change the shape or upgrade to metal sheet/siding.
If this is the block you're thinking of, you can also craft a wood fence in inventory (if you're too far from your forge for that to be convenient) and then upgrade it to metal siding with the stoneaxe/hammer/nailgun and scrap iron.

Yep, I always use the wood fence for those. Can't be bothered making them in the forge when I can just upgrade them.

I searched "metal" and clicked on the "Recipes" and nothing showed up in the inventory or forge that looked similar. But I'll be sure to check again. Thanks for the tip! :)

I'll check for the wooden fence for sure. I searched "fence" and couldn't find anything but I'll check again. Cheers for the tip :)

I tried just searching "fence" in the regular crafting list / inventory and both the WOOD FENCES and METAL FENCES show up...though the metal fences has the icon on the right indicating it needs to be made in the forge instead of inventory.

You aren't running any mods are you? I'm in vanilla/plain.

Naah no mods. I might've not searched for "fence" but "Metal" and "siding" which neither showed up on. I found the wood fence which upgraded seems to turn into the metal siding I want ^^ So cheers! The metal fence didn't shape into a siding, but might do if you upgrade it? ^^
