Null Reference Exception when opening the skill menu

Just as the title says. I keep getting this error when I open my saved games on SP RWG. I started a new game and was able to open my skill menu. Last night when the error started, I ♥♥♥♥♥♥ around for about a half hour and finally opened an old save. I was able to open my skill menu on that save and when I quit and started my current world, I was able to open the skill menu again so I thought I had fixed it. Started the game this morning and I can no longer open my skill menu on either of those saves. Is there a fix for this?

If you used any mods that modified skills youll need to reload those for those saves. If you did not, verify the game cache (properties if you right click the game in Steam).

I'm playing vanilla. No mods. What I did to make it work was started a new game then quit. When I loaded the game that wouldn't work before, it then worked. I'll verify now, though. Maybe it'll keep it from happening.
