So far i've got about 44 hours worth of gameplay (not tons I know) but 0 crashes on my end.

I've been using the game for a lot of laptop testing recently; no crashes so far (even on the ~$300 1135g7 model with 8gb RAM and only the Integrated graphics...even FullTextureQuality seems to work fine).

It is a you issue.

Moving this to the correct forum section. Read the Pinned threads, and do the needful.

Check the mods folders in both the game directory and the Appdata/roaming/7DaysToDie folder. Make sure you don't have any outdated mods. Also, make sure you're running with updated drivers.

The only times the game crashed on me was when I used mods. Vanilla 7DTD has never crashed on me.

Also, because you have an older install. Check your
<drive>:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\7 Days To Die
folder for any mods folder - delete if you find one.
A couple of updates ago 7DTD changed from install-dir mod folder to the appdata mod folder. If you have residual mods in you original install folder they will interfere with the game play.
