For some reason TFP puts much effort into making 7d2d more and more mediocre on their race to the finishing line.
I am OK, that they pursue their vision.
But at the same time, I am a bit disappointed, as I would have liked a less gamey-approach to many, many of the later mechanics and mechanics-changes.
I've had that in the forest biome as well.. some were direwolves.
Not a fun thing to turn around and see running full speed at you xD
I read that flaming barrels attract zombies, so I put three of them across the street just to see what would happen. Didn't seem to do much... but maybe that's one reason why more of these creatures are passing by...?
Definitely more bears and mountain lions in snow biome; more zombie bears and dogs in burned forest and wastelands from what I've seen (and zombie birds too!). I've only just taken first steps into desert, but I saw lots of coyotes there.
So I've seen lots of animals. I also think animals are more common at dawn/dusk and at night.
They are replaced with snakes instead btw
The animal spawn rates can be changed in the xml files per biome, so that's nice.
Not a dog , not a coyote it was a big wolf it was chilling near a bed and nearly gave me a heart attack.
