Amd Fps boost settings
After so trying so many things to get slightly better frames rates these settings alone made my FPS jump back to 100+ fps!

At the time of this post I'm using the 16.2.1 drivers - crimson - amd hd 7900 series

1.) Open Radeon Settings
2.) Click Gaming
3.) click 7 days to die (enabled on mine)

Settings: This is what I have, changed a few things.

Anti-Aliasing mode : Use Application Setting
Open GL Triple buffering: Off
Frame rate target control Disabled
Anti-Aliasing method: Multisampling
Shade Cache: Off
Morpholigical filtering: Off
Tessalation Mode: Overide Application setting
Anisotropic Filting mode: Use Application setting
Maximum Tessalation level: Off
Texture Filtering Quality: Performance
AMD Cross mode: default mode
Surface Format Optimization: Off
Frame pacing: Off
Waiting for vertical refresh: Off, unless application specifies

Let me know if this helps! I tried everything from unchecking under the game options, even going to the lowest block setting as wel, including reducing my view distance, when I went into the amd radeon settings control panel is where I saw the huge boost in FPS (Should have done it a long time ago)

What are your ingame settings?
ClickBait Mar 21, 2016 @ 11:20am
tone mapping: Off
V-sync - Off
Anti Aliasing: Off
Texture quality Full size (tried Eigth size) didn't help much on fps prior to me changing the amd settings.
Reflection Quality: Off
Reflected Shadows Unchecked
Water Quality Low
Shadow Distance: No Shadows
Tree Quality Low
Grass distance: Normal
Motion Blur off
Bloom / SSAD / DOF / Sunshafts unchecked
View distance: 8

I tried all these options prior going into the Amd Control panel to improved my fps, barely helped, was really frustated!!!

slight bump, anyone else can verify these settings to see an big increase in boost that use amd?

I changed mine and went from about 50fps up 100fps now. I did get a bump with the last driver update a few days ago. The last driver update I went from 30fps up to around 50fps.
I have an R9290X Double dissapation card too with 16gb ram on the pc running with a SSD drive so I shouldn't have any problems running most games. My fps issues started just as soon as they released Alpha13. The previous alpha's I was well over 100fps with all the settings maxed out.
Hopefully it gets fixed with A14!!! and hopefully today. I wanna turn my settings back up (Eye candy)

Its right around the corner for A14. just wait untill that comes out. A14 is much about bug fixing and stability problems so might be that you dont need to change anything when it hits.
A13.8 is added to beta list so usualy that means thats it just houers before next patch is out. might be a day or two. but from earlyer patches after they add it to the beta list its like a half a day and the patch is out.
