Would love an "undo scrap" button
I just scrapped a lvl 6 iron shovel by accident. If I could have a button that would undo my last scrap...that would've saved me so many times over! Anyone think there'd be a way to make a mod for that, or even get it implemented into the game itself?

You can cancel scrapping, and indeed any other action, from your inventory/crafting already.

Yeah...

The only time I was able to cancel scrapping anything was when it was something really 'beefy', and I wasn't really doing anything else at the time, or if I had a very stacked queue of things I was already scrapping... That being said, and I really feel the OP's pain... But that's just how it goes. Where would it end? Oh, I walked through the door and a zombie hit me... I think I need to hit the 'go back 5 seconds' button.

If items is scrapped then item is added to history. undo button on history section for no greater than X scrapped items. If undo button is pressed AND materials from scrapped item are inside inventory, return the item, remove the materials. If no materials exist then do nothing.

I call this: pocket scrap recall.

A button to undo your mistakes lol, I dont really see the point, just watch what you're are doing, why not just change the scrap button key to something you wont press by mistake? like somewhere away from the "A" "W" and "D" keys, maybe a key on the far right side of the keyboard?

I'm running with 'God Bless The Dead' here on this one.

Don't get into so much of a rush that you stop paying attention to what you're doing. That's like someone eating glass accidentally by pressing the W key instead D when trying to drop it.

Live with your mistakes and learn from it on your next playthrough. That's part of the game.

I don't see the need, particularly since you can't scrap an item with a mod on it.

If you get something you absolutely want to avoid scrapping just drop any available mod on it, even if it doesn't help. That is an easy enough work around for me being careless and doesn't require any additional development.

Instead of an undo how about a lock toggle that prevent you from scrapping/selling selected items?

"Oops, I seemed to have accidentally pushed the wrong button and scrapped this random item. Since I can only scrap items without mods in them, it probably wasn't important."

*Poofs in accidentally scrapped item from Dev menu and continues playing normally*

Easy Peasy
